Tuolumne Meadows / Cathedral Peak

After staying in the Yosemite Valley for two days, we decided to spend more time in the less crowed Tuolumne Meadows. This place has been one of the highlights on our trip, i have rarely seen such beauty and asthetic in alpine areas. The peak lends its name from its cathedral-shaped peak, which was formed by glacial activity. When hiking in such high altitudes over 10000 feet (3000m) you slightly start to feel the "thin" air, but when we arrived to Upper Cathedral Lake it was really worth all the effort.
