Badwater Basin is an endorheic basin in Death Valley National Park, California, noted as the lowest point in north america, with an elevation of 282 ft (86 m) below sea level. It's an unforgetable experience to wander a little way out onto the salt flats, and just stand for a while in the stifling heat.
